BOARD OF TRUSTEES

Rodney Waller, Chairman of Board of Trustees

Mr. Waller is a CPA with seven years’ experience in public accounting with Arthur Andersen & Co. and a senior energy executive for over thirty years. He and his wife, Suzanne, both graduated summa cum laude from Harding University, Searcy, Arkansas. Their three children also graduated from Harding. He currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Harding University and serves on its finance committee.

Mr. Waller serves on the Lifeline Chaplaincy’s and Compassion Touch’s Executive Boards and the Tarrant County Advancement Boards. Both organizations are dedicated to providing compassionate support to the seriously ill, their families and caregivers, and to being an educational resource for crisis ministry.

He also is Co-Chairman of the Hearts of Faith Committee for the Arlington Life Shelter Capital Campaign to expand the local night shelter caring for homeless families. Rodney serves as an Elder at North Davis Church of Christ and is a volunteer Chaplain at MCA Hospital. All of Rodney’s three children attended the Children’s Center thirty-five years ago.

Dr. Juvenal “Eric” Chacon, Board of Trustees

Dr. Juvenal “Eric” Chacon PT,DPT is a Physical Therapist for Nova Medical Centers. He started as a Staff Physical Therapist in 2015 and has moved up in the company where he has been the Regional Director for the past 3 years. Eric was born and raised in Trent, TX. He graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Hardin Simmons University and attended undergraduate at McMurry University, where he received a degree in Natural Sciences and Biochemistry. After graduation, Eric moved to Arlington to develop his career in physical therapy as well as management. Eric also created and operates a small business, Old Goat Cerakote and Firearms LLC, which was established in March of 2022.

Eric, and his wife Rebecca have two children, Ella and Eli, who both attend PRCA. Their children started school at PRCA in 2020 and they look forward to being a part of the PRCA family for many years to come. During their free time, Eric and his family enjoy spending time together at parks, museums, the zoo, and the simplicity of just playing in the back yard.

Eric is excited to serve PRCA by being a board member and playing an instrumental role in PRCA's growth. He looks forward to becoming acquainted with fellow board members, the PRCA staff, and the visions for our future PRCA. He is dedicated to being an advocate for the school, its staff, and students.

Benton Clark, Board of Trustees

Mr. Clark is a CPA and former CFO with United Way of Tarrant County overseeing financial reporting; information technology and facility management. Benton and his wife, Millie, both graduated from Abilene Christian University. 

Benton currently serves on the Board of Christian Homes and Family Services and its finance committee. 

His wife taught at the Children’s Center and the Academy for over 15 years and his two children both attended the Children’s Center and the Academy for over 15 years.  Benton and his wife attend Woodland West Church of Christ.

Cecile Cobb-Green, Board of Trustees

Mrs. Cobb-Green is a retired elementary educator with Arlington Independent School District.

Cecile graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BSE. She taught third grade for four years for AISD. Both of her daughters attended the Park Row Preschool and she served on the Board during those years. In 1981, Cecile returned to AISD as the first elementary art teacher in AISD. She was voted Teacher of the Year in 1994 at Duff Elementary.

Both her grandchildren attended Park Row Preschool in 2012-2019. Cecile returned to Board in 2018. Cecile and husband, Peter; attended Park Row Church and now attend North Davis Church of Christ.

Susie Dixon, Board of Trustees

Mrs. Dixon has been the Secretary of the Board of Trustees since 2009 with a business background in the family’s construction business. She graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a degree in Business Administration. Susie served on the Sam Houston High School Site-based Committee for 8 years and has been a substitute teacher in Arlington Independent School District since 1996.

Susie’s daughter, Beth Zimmerman, taught science at the Academy while her two grandchildren attend the Academy. Susie and her husband, Don, had been life-long members at Park Row Church before its dissolution in July 2020. Mrs. Dixon’s family now attends the North Davis Church of Christ. Mrs. Dixon’s family business is the first call for various maintenance projects at the facilities.

Anne Dye, Board of Trustees

Mrs. Dye is a retired educator with 23 years’ elementary education experience. Anne graduated from Texas Christian University with a BS in Elementary Education and received a Master’s degree from North Texas State University in Elementary School Supervision.

Anne taught for 10 years in the Fort Worth Independent School District as a teacher and reading specialist, eight years in the Arlington Independent School District as a teacher and librarian and five years in the Birdville Independent School District as a librarian. Anne holds three certificates from TEA.

Anne’s daughter and three grandchildren attended Park Row Preschool and Kindergarten and one is enrolled in the elementary school. Anne and her husband, Gary, attend North Davis Church of Christ.
